1. Introduction
Welcome to MyRovan. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using MyRovan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services. (Note: MyRovan is operated by an entity currently being formed. Final legal details will be updated here once the LLC is registered.)
2. Service description
MyRovan is an online community marketplace that connects travelers with free space in their vehicles to people who need to move items along the same route. MyRovan is not a transport company, courier, or freight provider — we facilitate connections between users and do not carry items ourselves.
3. User responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, including a valid phone number. Travelers are responsible for the safe operation of their vehicle and for the items they agree to carry. Senders are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and condition of the items they ask to be transported. Prohibited activities include: listing routes you do not intend to drive, transporting illegal, hazardous, perishable, or restricted items, fraudulent or deceptive behavior, harassment of other users, and violating any applicable law.
4. Bookings and payments
When a sender reserves space on a route, MyRovan may charge a small platform fee shown clearly before payment is completed. The remainder is intended to contribute to the traveler's trip costs. We reserve the right to update our fee structure with reasonable notice.
5. Disputes and resolution
If a dispute arises between users, MyRovan may review the in-app conversation and other available evidence to help resolve it. Our determinations regarding refunds, platform fees, or account actions are final. MyRovan is not a party to any transport agreement between users.
6. Limitation of liability
MyRovan acts as an intermediary platform. We do not own, operate, or insure any vehicles, and we are not responsible for accidents, loss, theft, damage, delays, or any other circumstances arising out of trips arranged through the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to any user is limited to the platform fees paid by that user in the prior 12 months.
7. Privacy
Your privacy matters. We collect only the information needed to operate the service (account details, phone number, transaction history, basic technical data) and use trusted third parties for hosting, authentication, and payment processing. Contact us if you'd like to access, correct, or delete your data.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users. You may close your account at any time, subject to completion of pending bookings.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
